Grains in general have found the 2013 growing season to be a stressful year, while the planting season was split into 2 distinct cycles about 2 weeks apart split by a extended period of heavy rains. The harvest season has been a real challenge with above normal rains hampering harvest.
Our grain quality has been holding as our farmers work day and night bringing in the crops.
9/9/2013 U.S. Grains find traction. Over the past several weeks the grain markets have stregnthed with worries about late season droughts and overall crop quality corn and soybeans have both rebounded at least 25% to acceptable levels for growers.
